Cafe in the control tower museum, “You can’t kill the spirit”, Women of Greenham. This surprised us, given the more military/aviation focus of the museum.

Interestingly, the central piece of the triptych has a much more prominent local woman with a ‘Greenham Women Out!’ banner, overshadowing the CND banners of the camp.

In 101 Arts, watching “Both Sides of the Fence”, a Meridian TV 2 part documentary from 1994, on the debates over what to do with the decommissioned air base, before it was returned to council ownership.
